Hello! I’m Ange-line Tetrault, a product and lifestyle designer. I live with my french bulldog, Ruby, in Toronto. I create objects that are not only functional but decorative adding a touch of whimsy to your space while keeping you organized. After a few years of working on many creative endeavors, I’m launching my own product line under the name nanange; which was my childhood nickname. I’m going back to my design roots and bringing you a new collection filled with playful colors, patterns, and forms that you can mix and match. Shop the new line here.
“Products designed for a stylishly tidy life”
A Little About Myself
My childhood memories include hours decorating, tidying, and organizing my bedroom. This would even extend to those friends who would let me do this as our time together! I would be coming up with simple DIY solutions that were functional and stylish. This was the beginning of my journey to a career as a product designer today. My studies and background in musical theatre would later become a foundation for my later practice. I was keenly interested in prop and set design, which I later applied as a visual merchandiser for various retailers. But this in itself was not enough to satisfy the passion that I had to create beautiful objects, which led me back to school to obtain a Bachelor in Industrial Design.
Fate led me to imm Living, where I was designing household products that were decor with a function. Some of my work can be found in stores around the world, like Urban Outfitter, Anthropologie, SF MoMA, Uncommon Goods, Mod Cloth, and many more. I’ve also had some of my products featured in publications, both locally and internationally, and appear on a few television shows (for more details click here).
I started Stylishly Tidy Life, a design & lifestyle blog, to share my love of organizing, design, and self-care rituals. I post weekly on Thursdays, so make sure to check back then for fun DIY projects, free worksheets, useful life hacks, and so much more… Let’s get stylishly tidy!
